As a buyer you should count on at least 45 minutes to an hour for a typical closing, unless you are going to read every line word for word.....then count on about 2 hours. As a seller you will only need about 15-30 minutes for the entire process. You will need your driver's license or state id card. Most title companies will allow a seller to bring a blank check in order to have their proceeds wired directly into their account.
