Exclamation Are Home Inspectors always right?

Home inspectors are paid to give their opinion and advice regarding the condition of a home. They are also required to cover their own rear legally to make certain that anything which may even slightly become an issue be written on their report.

It is very common to see an inspector tell you in a report to have a qualified person in a field give you a second opinion on the items they reported, such as a roofer inspecting a roof to verify the inspectors opinion.

Not only will inspectors possibly miss items, they may also over represent potential issues to make certain a home buyer is aware of what might happen. Most of the time, inspectors will do a great job and find nearly every problem with a home. The trick is to find a thorough inspectors from the start!
